EBBING AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Ark. -- Seventeen Airmen of the Quarter nominees were recognized at commander's call, Feb. 20, 2016, for distinguishing themselves among their 188th peers and providing exceptional service to the wing over the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2016.

From the magnetic field of nominees, winners were selected in the Airman, Noncommissioned Officer, Senior NCO, Company Grade Officer and Field Grade Officer categories.

Col. Bobbi Doorenbos, commander of the 188th Wing, presented certificates and coins to all the award winners and praised their performance over the last quarter. Additionally, she thanked the supervisors and commanders who made it a point to recognize the hard work and dedication to the mission by these individuals.

"We're proud of all the winners and nominees and we appreciate their hard work and dedication," Doorenbos said. "Their resolve and determination help make the 188th one of the best and most innovative wings in the Air National Guard."

The Outstanding Airman of the Quarter program promotes professional development, innovation and mission success by recognizing those who excel in their carrier fields while fostering the cultivation of ready, responsive and highly-skilled Airman.
