Dollars and sense
The test box for the up-front controller on the A-10C Thunderbolt II "Warthog" was developed by the 188th Fighter Wing Avionics Intermediate Station. The test box validates every operation of the up-front controller and verifies 100 percent reliability of the part following the repair. It also saves three man hours per test. The AIS has submitted the test box to the Air Force Suggestion Program. (U.S. Air Force photo by Capt. Heath Allen/Arkansas National Guard Public Affairs)
