A 188th Fighter Wing A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog" sits on the 188th flightline March, 8, 2010. The 188th, based in Fort Smith, Ark., deployed for an Aerospace Expeditionary Forces rotation March 8. The 188th will be deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan, for more than two months. The 188th will be attached to the 451st Expeditionary Wing while at Kandahar Airfield.
