Conversion Day

A 188th Wing A-10C Thunderbolt II “Warthog” piloted by Col. Mark Anderson, 188th Wing commander, taxies on the ramp in preparation for its final departure from Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Arkansas, June 7, 2014. Stanley L. Stefancic III was promoted to the rank of colonel and assumed command of the 188th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group March 1, 2017 at Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark. Retired Chief Master Sgt. Stanley Stefancic Jr. and Lindsey Stefancic, spouse of Col. Stefancic, place the colonel insignia on Stefancic’s service coat.
