A pilot from the 23rd Wing in Moody Air Force Base, Ga., taxis on the ramp at Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark. The pilot delivered the 188th A-10C Thunderbolt II "Warthog" (Tail No. 613) from Ebbing ANG Base to Moody AFB March 11, 2014, as part of the 188th's mission conversion from the A-10 to a remotely piloted aircraft, intelligence and targeting mission. The 188th has five remaining A-10s on station. The next A-10 is slated to depart in April. The final two aircraft are scheduled to leave the 188th June 7, 2014. Conversion continuation: Tail 613 bids farewell to 188th

Stefancic III was promoted to the rank of colonel and assumed command of the 188th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group March 1, 2017 at Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark. Retired Chief Master Sgt. Stanley Stefancic Jr. and Lindsey Stefancic, spouse of Col. Stefancic, place the colonel insignia on Stefancic’s service coat.
