Local religious leaders visited the 188th Fighter Wing as part of a religious diversity program for unit members Sept. 8, 2013. The program featured Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Mormon, and protestant Christianity. Geoff Gibson, pictured above, gave a briefing on the fundamentals of Mormonism. Gibson also functions as the 188th’s director of Psychological Health. Each leader provided a presentation of the fundamental beliefs and customs of their respective religions and took questions from the attendees following the presentation, which was orchestrated by the 188th Equal Opportunity Office. 188th hosts Religious Diversity Day

Stanley L. Stefancic III was promoted to the rank of colonel and assumed command of the 188th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group March 1, 2017 at Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark. Retired Chief Master Sgt. Stanley Stefancic Jr. and Lindsey Stefancic, spouse of Col. Stefancic, place the colonel insignia on Stefancic’s service coat.
