188th hosts Religious Diversity Day
Local religious leaders visited the 188th Fighter Wing as part of a religious diversity program for unit members Sept. 8, 2013. The program featured Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Mormon, and protestant Christianity. Geoff Gibson, pictured above, gave a briefing on the fundamentals of Mormonism. Gibson also functions as the 188th’s director of Psychological Health. Each leader provided a presentation of the fundamental beliefs and customs of their respective religions and took questions from the attendees following the presentation, which was orchestrated by the 188th Equal Opportunity Office.
