The Good Samaritan: 188th’s Sosebee receives Life Saver Award

Chief Kevin Lindsey (left) presents officer Nathan Sosebee with the Fort Smith Police Department’s Life Saver Award, Oct. 28, 2015, for his actions at Lake Fort Smith State Park on May 30. Sosebee and his wife were fishing when they heard a cry for help from a man dazed and stranded in the lake. Sosebee aided the man who was suffering from hypothermia and diabetic shock until paramedics arrived on scene. Sosebee is assigned to the 188th Wing’s Security Forces Squadron as an operations officer. (Courtesy photo)
