Civil Air Patrol tours 188th Fighter Wing
Members of the Civil Air Patrol’s 83rd Composite Squadron based in Fort Smith, Ark., pose for a photo in front of a 188th Fighter Wing RF-84 Thunderflash. Members of the 83rd toured the 188th Fighter Wing June 25. The 83rd members flew in the A-10 Thunderbolt II simulator and also got to view the wing’s Warthogs up close during a tour of the base’s hangar. The 188th flew RF-84Fs from 1957-1970.
