Earth Day 2012: 188th doing its part to go green

From left: Col. Tom Anderson, former 188th Fighter Wing commander; Lt. Gen. (ret.) Glenn F. Spears, then-12th Air Force commander; and Maj. Joe Harrison, 188th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) commander. Harrison gave Spears a tour of the newly built 188th CES facility May 25, 2010, while the building was still under construction. The facility became Air National Guard’s first U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold facility.
