Operation Unified Response
A C-17 and C-130 sit on the ramp at the 188th Fighter Wing Jan. 25. Both aircraft were loaded with cargo containing the 188th's Disaster Relief Beddown Set (DRBS). The 188th was tasked with deploying its DRBS in support of Operation Unified Response. The DRBS is a 188th asset that supports 150 personnel. It includes one all-terrain forklift, billets, shower and latrine facilities, water purification capabilities, a kitchen and self-help laundry machines. The DRBS will be used to house relief personnel from Expeditionary Medical Support, which will help provide medical care to Haiti earthquake victims. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Capt.
