188th Fighter Wing celebrates 60th anniversary
Chaplain Brig. Gen. (ret.) H.D. McCarty delivers a speech at the 188th Fighter Wing’s 60th anniversary jubilee Nov. 2, 2013. McCarty was the keynote speaker at the event, which was held at the unit’s Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark. McCarty was the chaplain at the 188th from 1976-1984. The 188th hosted the event in its main hangar to celebrate 60 years of excellence. The 188th marked 60 years as an Air National Guard unit Oct. 15.
