Diversity: More than meets the eye

Chaplain (Col.) Thomas Smith, Arkansas Joint Force Headquarters command chaplain, provides Senior Master Sgt. Ray Traylor, 188th Weapons Safety manager, with Hershey’s Hugs and Kisses at Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark., Oct. 7, 2015. Smith has served the 188th Wing for more than 20 years as a wing chaplain and the full-time base chaplain. Smith has served for 10 years overseas in the Philippines as a missionary and has pastored for 40 years.
