Chief Master Sgt. Jeffery Keith Weaver serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 188th Wing, Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark. His role is to advise the wing commander on matters concerning the readiness, morale, welfare, and utilization of the enlisted force. Additionally, he provides guidance to ensure mission effectiveness, professional development, and compliance with standards across the enlisted tier.
Chief Master Sgt. Weaver entered the United States Air Force in July 1992. He completed the Communication and Navigation Systems Specialist Course at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, graduating in March 1993. In 1998, he graduated from the F-16, A-10, and F-117 Avionic Test Station and Aircraft Component Apprentice Course. Chief Weaver completed the Geospatial-Intelligence Targeting Course at Goodfellow AFB, Texas, in April 2015.
His early assignments included roles with the 7th and 42nd Airborne Command and Control Squadrons, where he supported airborne operations and deployed to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in support of Operation Vigilant Warrior. He later served with the 355th Component Repair Squadron at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. After transitioning to the Arkansas Air National Guard in July 1997, he held a variety of positions including Avionics Intermediate Shop Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, and Avionics Element Flight Chief within the 188th Fighter Wing. He deployed to Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia, in 2002 for Operation Southern Watch; to Balad Air Base, Iraq, in 2005 for Operation Iraqi Freedom; and to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, in 2012 for Operation Enduring Freedom. Following the 188th Wing’s conversion to an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance mission in 2013, he served as Flight Chief for current operations, operations support, and later as the Senior Enlisted Leader within the 153rd Intelligence Squadron. Prior to his current position, he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 123rd Intelligence Squadron, Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark.
