Members of the 188th Civil Engineering Squadron attended a formal dining-in ceremony Aug. 10 to help foster squadron camaraderie before the unit ventured to Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., to participate in Exercise Silver Flag during annual training.

Arkansas Senator Jake Files was the event's guest speaker. Lt. Col. Pete Gauger, 188th Mission Support Group commander, and Maj Joe Harrison, 188th Civil Engineering Squadron commander, were among those in attendance. The 188th CES also named its annual award winners. Senior Airman Michael Rutherford was named the 188th CES' Airman of the Year for 2011 and Staff Sgt.
