  • Martin takes command of the 188th ISRG

    The 188th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group (ISRG) held a change of command ceremony here as Col Sara A. Stigler, who became the Wing’s vice commander, relinquished ISRG command to Lt. Col Michael P. Martin.

    Col. Mary T. (Tenise) Gardner, 188th Mission Support Group commander, retired in a formal ceremony here July 8, 2021.

  • Exercise Establish Fury

    An MQ-9 From the 147th Attack Wing sits in front of a hanger on the 188th Wing flight line. Exercise Establish Fury marks the first time an MQ-9 Landed and launched at the airfield in Fort Smith Arkansas.

    The 188th Weather Flight uses satellite systems and model information through Weatherview. There are also seven Operation Weather Squadron pages broken into regions across the globe. These pages provide satellite, radar, model data, and observations or forecasts for every air force base.
