Sam Bond 188th Fighter Wing FORT SMITH, Ark. -- The 188th Fighter Wing lodging procedures (188FW Instruction 34-246) have recently been updated. The primary change is that while on active duty orders, 188th Fighter Wing members who live outside the commuting distance (excluding full-time employees) are now able to make their own hotel reservations by calling one of the hotels on contract with the 188th Services Flight office. Members can obtain a list of contacts to hotels and the amenities they offer by contacting either their unit's lodging representative or the 188th Services Office. Reservations for members in UTA/BUTA/RUTA status will continue to be made through the Services Office via their unit lodging representative as previously accomplished.
